My family of six had an amazing time at the Villas Of Amelia Island. The weather was perfect, and we loved the spacious accommodations that allowed us to relax together. The service by the pool was great, and the variety of dining options suited everyone's tastes. However, the check-in process was a bit slow, which took away from an otherwise fantastic experience.
Rooms
10.0
The villas were very clean and well-equipped, offering us the space we needed to spread out comfortably. I appreciated having the option to make breakfast and lunch in our villa, making things easier for the family.
Service
10.0
The staff was friendly and attentive, going above and beyond with helpful tips about local eateries. They even accommodated our request for a late checkout, which was incredibly helpful for us.
Location
9.0
It was a short walk to the beautiful beach through the dunes, or we could take a quick tram ride to the main hotel. The proximity to local attractions allowed us to explore a bit too.
Dining
9.0
We enjoyed diverse dining options, especially our almost two-hour lunch at the Sunrise Cafe. The quality of food, including world-famous seasoned fries, was noteworthy.
Facilities
9.0
The amenities offered were fantastic. The pool area was clean and created a relaxing atmosphere. It was great to have various engaging activities, from tennis to nature walks.

My stay at the Villas of Amelia Island was a mixed bag. While the location boasts beautiful amenities and plenty of activities, I faced several challenges that made the trip less enjoyable. The cleanliness of my villa left much to be desired, and the parking situation was a real hassle, especially during the busy 4th of July weekend.
Rooms
5.0
The villa I stayed in was spacious, but unfortunately, it had roaches and the light fixture was loose, which didn't create a comforting vibe. Plus, there were issues with cleanliness that detracted from my experience.
Service
5.0
While some staff were friendly and helpful, getting a hold of guest services was frustrating. It took me 15 minutes to connect with someone for tram assistance, which was needed due to the hotel's size.
Location
6.0
The hotel has gorgeous beach access and beautiful surroundings, but navigating the resort and finding parking was challenging, particularly with numerous golf carts parked haphazardly.
Dining
5.0
I appreciated the variety of dining options, but my dinner at Oceanside was a letdown with slow service and mediocre food. It would have been nicer to receive a birthday gesture for my husband, considering we celebrated there.
Facilities
5.0
The amenities like the pools are beautiful, but unfortunately, the villa pool was dirty throughout my stay. Additionally, the lack of available beach chairs and umbrellas was disappointing.

I had a mixed experience at Villas Of Amelia Island. While the beach access and spaciousness of the villa were great, I faced numerous issues with the room and service. The beach chair fees caught me off guard, considering the hefty resort fee I was already paying. Overall, while I enjoyed some aspects, the frustrations left me hesitant to return.
Rooms
5.0
The room I received had several problems. the thermostat was broken, and the ceiling fan remote didn't work. The initial room wasn't cleaned properly, which added to my frustration.
Service
5.0
I experienced challenges during check-in. The front desk staff seemed overwhelmed and I had to repeatedly follow up to get my daily housekeeping. Some staff were very helpful, but the inconsistencies were disappointing.
Location
6.0
The resort's natural beauty is lovely. I enjoyed walking to the beach, but navigating the hotel was confusing at times due to the dense trees.
Dining
6.0
The dining options were decent. I appreciated the quality of food in the restaurant, but the overall service during meals could improve.
Facilities
5.0
Amenities like the pool and activities were nice. However, I expected better maintenance in my villa and more immediate solutions to my problems.

5.4/10
My stay at the Villas of Amelia Island was a mix of highs and lows. The beach and amenities were fantastic, but my villa experience fell short due to a few issues with the room and service. Daily housekeeping was lacking, and I had to deal with quite a few maintenance headaches, which made it a bit frustrating.
Rooms
6.0
I was initially assigned to a room that had a broken AC and a fan remote that didn’t work. After complaining, I got moved to another room that was outdated and poorly decorated, with no ceiling fan and a tiny TV. I really appreciated the spaciousness, but the overall quality was underwhelming.
Service
6.0
The front desk initially gave me a hard time regarding my group rate and housekeeping, but once I spoke to them again, they were much more helpful. Still, it took too long for them to respond to my request for maintenance. Staff friendliness varied a lot.
Location
6.0
The resort is located near a beautiful beach, but getting around was a hassle because I had to rely on the tram service, which was necessary due to the heat. It was hard to find my villa at night because the lighting and signage were inadequate.
Dining
6.0
Dining options were decent, with a couple of restaurants that stood out. However, it felt like most places had inflated prices, especially for food and amenities. Good food but not exactly budget-friendly.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities had a good variety of amenities, and I enjoyed some of the activities available. Unfortunately, I had issues with housekeeping frequency, which was frustrating during my stay. The pools looked nice but I didn’t get a chance to check them out.

My stay at the Villas of Amelia Island was truly nice, especially with a beautifully renovated unit that offered direct beach access. though the COVID precautions at the main pool area really left much to be desired. The spaciousness of the villa made it perfect for my family, and we loved having our own kitchen to cook meals. Overall, it's a great choice for families seeking a beach vacation, but I'd recommend avoiding the pool if you're concerned about safety.

Our villa was stunning, updated, and very spacious with direct beach access. a perfect fit for my family. Having a full kitchen was a game changer during our stay.
Service
8.0
The staff members were friendly and accommodating, though I did notice some areas where more training could help improve service quality.
Location
9.0
Access to the beach was fantastic. even though it took a bit to figure out the layout of the hotel. The villas are well-positioned for a seaside escape albeit slightly detached from the main hotel amenities.
Dining
7.0
Dining options were diverse; we enjoyed some great meals, but I had a not-so-great experience with room service that seemed off their game.
Facilities
6.0
While the main hotel area is beautifully decorated, I found the pool situation unsettling given the close quarters of lounge chairs. definitely not ideal during this time.
